Below is the specifications for my Tiger Cat E1:

Engine

  • Fully reconditioned 2 Litre Ford "Pinto"
  • Single Overhead Cam (SOHC)
  • 8 valves
  • Head converted to run on unleaded fuel
  • Twin 45 Weber DCOE Carbs on bespoke inlet manifold
  • Weber twin throttle cable assembly (underslung)
  • Standard Motorcraft electronic ignition system with Boshe distributor
  • Shortened sump
  • Magnecore silicone HT leads with NGK spark plugs
  • Vulcan Engineering breather kit with catch tank
  • Heat wrap on exhaust down pipes
  • RAW Engineering re-packable silencer
  • Power output : 122.6 BHP @ 5365 rpm
  • Torque output : 130.2 ft lb @ 3777 rpm

    Gearbox

  • Standard Ford Type 9 gearbox
  • 5 forward gears
  • Westfield remote mechanism with quick-shift modification

    Brakes

  • Front vented discs
  • EBC "Greenstuff" pads
  • Gold reconditioned 2lt Sierra Callipers
  • Rear standard 2lt Sierra Drums (painted red)

    Suspension

  • Front: internal adjustable Spax coilover dampers
  • Sierra TCAs and uprights with Tiger rocker arms
  • Rear: 300lb springs with standard Tiger dampers
  • Full Sierra back axle with trailing arms
