Megajolt 3d mapped ignition
Finally finished (almost!) my DIY mapped ignition system. Click here for more details
22nd February 2003
RAW Re-packable
My standard Tiger exhaust started getting loud after the trek up to Donnington last year. Looking at the various options I opted for the RAW one as it was the best value for money and was repackable. Click here for more details
29th January 2003
Headlights "flash-to-pass"
I've always wanted this function but the Tiger loom doesn't offer it. However a simple addition of a wire and it now works. Click here for more details
14th-17th January 2003
Engine bay tweaks
Replaced standard manifold O-rings, installed nice Magnecore blue silicone leads and fitted some braided hosing. Click here for more details
16th January 2003
Installed New Breather
I've found the standard Sierra setup a bit restrictive so decided to invest in a Vulcan Engineering breather kit which come with catch tank. Click here for more details
30th December 2002
Aero filler cap
The standard black plastic filler cap has always bugged me so the time had come to change it for a nice shiny aero style one. Click here for more details
26-27th December 2002
Installed Poly Bushes
This is an essencial upgrade as the standard rubber bushes seem to fall apart very quickly. The task of changing them is a nightmare though, as the Cat has inboard suspension. Click here for more details
22nd December 2002
Rollbar Holes Removed
As any Tiger owner will know, there are holes on the rollbar which are there for 3-point seatbelts. However, with 4-point ones there are redundant and hence just look ugly so I decided to remove them. Click here for more details
7th December 2002
Race Technology AP-22
I've been hankering after one of these for ages but could never quite justify one. Having a kit-car means I have no performace data for it so I decided to buy one. Click here for more details
31st October 2002
Westfield Gear Remote
An essential upgrade for me as the Tigre remote was very notchy. This should knock a few mili-secs of the 0-60 dash. Click here for more details
13th September 2002
Boot storage area
I decided that I needed somewhere to store a few essensial tools, so made a storage area on top of the fuel tank. Click here for more details
25th August 2002
1000 mile service
A fairly simple service after the running-in period. A change of oil, flushing the coolant and checking things. Click here for more details
22nd August 2002
Oil Seal
I noticed the other day some oil on the garage floor so decided to trace the source. The gearbox oil seal where the propshaft goes in was leaking. Click here for more details
17th August 2002
4 point harnesses
I've been meaning to get some for ages but for some reason never did. A trip to Merlin Motorsport and some Willans harnesses were brought. Click here for more details
