Enclosure

Below is how I modified a Hammond aluminium enclosure to suit the Megajolt PCB:
What you get
As you can see you get quite a lot for your £7.00.
Cutting it down
As the case is too long for the Megajolt PCB it needs to be shortened. I used a junior hacksaw to cut it down and a belt sander to finish the edge to be totally flat.
Supporting the PCB
The case is also too wide for the Megajolt PCB and as you can't shorten it wide ways you need to support one end of the PCB. I used off cuts from the length of the box to to this, held in place with Araldite (remember to rough up the surfaces!).
Cutting the ends
This was done using a Dremel. The trick is to remove a little at a time so you don't make the hole too big! I also cut a groove in both ends to support the PCB. For this you need to ensure you box is cut slightly smaller than the PCB length or it will rattle inside the box.
Finnished
And here it is and with it's lovely sticker too. Just don't do what I did and scratch the aluminium when building it though!
