These are called mishab o-rings and should give
a better seal between the carbs and manifold than
the current plastic ones.

Instead of the thackary washers ususally used I got
some of these which are basically rubber bobbins and
metal cups. The rubber gives the flex and shouldn't
break like the thackary washers do.

Here you can see how the rubber cups fit. I haven't
tighened them yet as I did this once on the car.
I removed the entire inlet manifold to do all this
as it was easier and gave clearance to fit the new
breather kit I've got.

Here's the carbs back together with their nice new
braided hosing. Thanks to Giles Cooper for the
hosing!

Here's the whole lot back in the car again and the
fuel line re-attached. Note my new fancy alloy oil
filler cap. I was Royston's and just had to have one!

Here's my nice new blue Magnecore silicone
HT-leads. Not entirely nessacary but they
look nice and should stop any problems with
mis-fires etc.
