The Build
Use the navigation bar on the left to select the section of the build you'd like to see. I haven't detailed everything, just a selection of the build. Looking
back I feel I didn't take enough photos really as after a certain stage I just wanted to finish the car and kind of forgot to take more photos!
Build Order
This was the order I built my Cat in (as far as I can remember). It is by no means the correct order as I don't think there is any set order to do things in:
Bottom panels
Pedel box
Brake/Fuel runs
Footwell panels and triangle ones in engine bay
Rear axle
Handbrake
Seat-back panels
Front suspension and steering rack
Steering column
Side panels
PUT CAR ONTO WHEELS (a nice moment!)
Wiring loom
Panel in front of fuel tank
Fuel tank
Battery tray
Engine, gearbox and propshaft in together
Engine plumbing, wiring and exhaust
START ENGINE (a great moment!!)
Scuttle
Dashboard and instrements
Remote gear change
Interior side panels
Wheel arch panels
Rear GRP
Rear lights
Nose cone and bonnet
Windscreen and supports
Cycle wings
Front lights
DVLA inspection
Rollbar
Parcel shelf
Interior plywood side panels
Interior carpets
Seat belts THEN seats
MOT
SVA!!
Bits fall off car here and some get replaced for nicer ones!
