Polystyrene was the chosen material for the job. I purchased a sheet of it from a local packaging company. I then laminated layers of it together with PVA glue so as to not melt the stuff! |

The block was then shaped to allow it to fit in the boot. A cut-out for the fuel filler was made. |

As can be seen, the storage area allows me to store: Fire-extinguisher, socket-driver, sockets, 13mm spanner, fuses and a scissors jack. |
